This overview lists all the major insect and butterfly exchanges in Europe. I regularly visit most of the exchanges listed here as an exhibitor or visitor. I enjoy the personal interaction at these events and, of course, I take online orders by arrangement.

Ento-Mons is the largest exchange in Belgium and, with around 70 exhibitors, offers a large platform and opportunity for exchange among entomologists.

The Prague "old" exchange, which has been in existence since 1949, is one of the largest in Czechia. It always takes place on the first weekend in March, where around 40 exhibitors mainly present beetles. There are also a few exhibitors offering butterflies. In addition, there are many entomological supplies and books.
The stock exchange is easily accessible by public transport. Parking spaces are rather difficult to find on site.

Entomodena is the largest entomological fair in Europe alongside the Paris fair. It takes place twice a year and, with many exhibitors spread across two halls, there is something for every entomologist. Butterflies, beetles, and other insects are exhibited in one hall. The adjacent hall contains extensive live material, shells, fossils, and changing exhibitors. Books and entomological material are offered throughout the exchange. There is also an accompanying program and various workshops.
Entomodena is easily accessible by car and there is plenty of parking available for visitors. There is a restaurant on site offering food and drink. In addition to Entomodena, there is also a flea market on the grounds that is well worth a visit.

Established in 1939, this fair outside London is the largest in England. Various exhibitors display a wide range of materials on two floors. The offerings consist mainly of butterflies, specialist literature, entomological equipment, and storage solutions.
The exchange is easily accessible by car and offers ample parking. It can also be reached by public transport from central London in around an hour.
Juvisy Insects of the World – Paris

The Paris Exchange is probably the largest in Europe. It takes place every year at the end of September in Juvisy. More than 50 exhibitors from all over the world display rare material at the exchange. You can find butterflies and beetles, as well as all kinds of entomological supplies and literature. There is also an accompanying program.
Juvisy is located north of Paris and is easily accessible by train. Parking is available on site within a radius of the hall.
127th International Insect Exchange Frankfurt

With more than 100 years of tradition, the International Insect Exchange in Frankfurt am Main is one of the largest events of its kind in Europe. It takes place annually on the first weekend in November. Around 50 exhibitors bring the exchange to life with material from all over the world. The main items on offer are mounted butterflies, live specimens, and entomological equipment. In recent years, more and more beetles have been exhibited.
In addition to the main exhibition, there will be an accompanying program for children and adults.
For international visitors, we recommend staying overnight directly above the forum in the in-house hotel.

50th Ingolstadt Insect Exchange

The Ingolstadt Insect Exchange always takes place at the beginning of January near Ingolstadt. Around 30 exhibitors offer mainly butterflies, but also a few beetles. The exchange is very easy to reach by car via the highway, and there is plenty of parking available. Access to the exchange is through the adjacent restaurant.
